The organising committee of the Asia Pacific Padel Tour (APPT) have made an update to the rules which have come into immediate effect regarding the entry limitations for Amateur Categories.

Amateur players entering these categories are entitled to play against other amateur players.
The ability of amateur players can vary greatly, and this should be recognised.
The entry limitations will be primarily based upon the APPT Pro rankings. If players do not have an APPT ranking, then other international rankings may be considered. Some players may enter and the APPT organising committee may have no prior knowledge of the professional ranking or ability. These players may play, and then be informed to not play an Amateur category again in the future.
