Can I play two categories in same gender?
- No. This causes scheduling problems which can not always be accommodated. You can play amateur male or pro male, but not both. (Same for female and mixed).
Can I play gender and mixed categories?
- Yes, you can. You can play pro male and pro mix, or based on you and your partners level pro male & amateur mix, or amateur male & pro mix etc.
When am I playing?
- Before a tournament, you can see when your first match will be on the tournament information page. Any specific requests can be sent to competition@asiapacificpadeltour.com and we will try our best to accommodate.
- During a tournament, our website will show your updated schedule, whether you continue in the main draw, or go to the consolation bracket.
When can I see the full schedule?
- The schedule will be released following the Live Drawing, so either on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the tournament begins.
What format is the tournament?
All APPT Tournaments will be knockout matches. We will never follow a group-stage or round-robin format.
What format are the matches?
- Main draw matches will be best of 3 full sets. Tie break to 7 points at 6-6
- Golden Point played on the 3rd deuce. (40:40. Adv:40, 40:40, Adv:40, GP)
Is there a consolation draw?
- Yes, there is a consolation draw for all main draws and all qualification brackets
- Teams losing in their first match of the tournament, will enter a consolation bracket
- If you lose in your 2nd match of the tournament, you are out of the competition.
- Consolation matches will follow the same format as main draw matches, except that 3rd sets will be a super tie-break to 10 points.
Do we play with new balls?
- For every main draw match, new Head balls will be provided.
- For consolation matches, you will use balls previously used in the tournament.
Welcome Pack & material
Can I reserve my shoe size for the welcome pack?
- No, not for the 2025 season. We’re working to improve this next year.
Can you request bigger shoe sizes for the Singapore welcome pack?
- No, size requests aren’t possible. We’ll try to make this available next season.
Can I have two welcome packs if I play two categories?
- No. The second category is discounted instead, so there is no second welcome pack. If you didn’t get the discount, contact us.
Can I upgrade from “No Welcome Pack” to “Welcome Pack” after registering?
- Not available after registration—please choose your option during registration.
Registration, refunds & tech support
What is the refund policy?
- Refunds are only possible before registration closes. Withdraw from your profile: https://asiapacificpadeltour.com/my-profile/ (edit/change/withdraw).
Is there still space to register?
- Try to enter on the tournament page. If you’re asked to join the waitlist, it’s full; if you can enter, there’s space.
I’m having technical issues with registration—what do I do?
- Contact technical support via WhatsApp or the support form (links provided on our site).
Do I need a national license to play?
- No. Create your profile, verify, register and pay on the website.
What are the age restrictions?
- None currently. Kids may join but compete vs. adults. Junior/senior events are being considered.
Should I play Amateur or Professional?
- If your goal is fun/experience → Amateur. If you want competition/progression → Pro.

Can I play two categories in the same gender?
- No. It creates scheduling conflicts (e.g., Amateur Male or Pro Male, not both). Same idea for Female/Mixed.
Can I play both a gender category and a mixed category?
- Yes. Examples: Pro Male + Pro Mix, Amateur Male + Pro Mix, etc.
Scheduling
When am I playing?
- Before the event, first-match time is on the tournament info page. During the event, your live schedule updates on the APPT website. For special requests email competition@asiapacificpadeltour.com.
When is the full schedule released?
- After the Live Draw—usually Tuesday or Wednesday before the event.
Can I request specific schedule times?
- You can submit the Schedule Request Form (https://forms.gle/1jdjVxajL1jobTrb8). We’ll consider it, but it’s not guaranteed. If you can’t play, withdraw before registration closes to get a refund.

What format is the tournament?
- All APPT tournaments are knockout (no group/round-robin).

Where can I see the tournament photos?
- On the media site: https://media.asiapacificpadeltour.com/ (usually fully uploaded by Tuesday after the tournament).
How do I apply as a photographer/videographer?
- Register on the media page; the team will review and grant permission. You can also apply to work with us officially through that page.
Account actions
How do I change my tournament partner?
- From your profile: Log in (https://asiapacificpadeltour.com/log-in/) → My Profile (https://asiapacificpadeltour.com/my-profile/) → select the tournament and update your partner.
Why do fees differ between tournaments?
- Fees vary by country, category, prize money, city and promoter. Details here: https://asiapacificpadeltour.com/joma-season-pass/
How does the waitlist work?
- Acceptance is first-registered, first-in. You’ll get an email invite; join using the link in that email (not the normal registration). We can’t share your exact position. We keep the waitlist open until the draw is made, and we try to fit as many players as possible.
